IEEE Smart World Congress is a leading conference curating cutting-edge content for all the technical fields of interest within IEEE for the engineering and technology community worldwide. 2023 IEEE Smart World Congress will be held at the University of Portsmouth, UK on 28th-31st, August, 2023.

The IEEE Smart World Congress originated from the 2005 Workshop on Ubiquitous Smart Worlds (USW, Taipei) and the 2005 Symposium on Ubiquitous Intelligence and Smart World (UISW, Nagasaki). Smart World 2023 in Portsmouth is the continuation after the previous successful conferences: Smart World 2022 in Haikou, the successful Smart World 2021 in Atlanta, Smart World 2020 in Melbourne, Smart World 2019 in Leicester, Smart World 2018 in Guangzhou, Smart World 2017 in San Francisco, Smart World 2016 in Toulouse, and Smart World 2015 in Beijing.
