ARCOmadrid is the International Contemporary Art Fair of Spain that, from its inception, is one of the main platforms of the contemporary art market. In 2023 will celebrate its 42nd edition with the mediterranean as a central project. The program, `The Mediterranean: A Sea of Round, curated by Marina Fokidis, and with the advice of Bouchra Khalili, Hila Peleg and Pedro G. Romero, will revolve around the art scene of the countries that surround the mediterranean sea, from south to north and from coast to coast. In addition, ARCOmadrid 2023 will keep the usual programs. This way they complete the artistic content with the Overall Program as the centerpiece of the Fair, formed by galleries selected by the Organizing Committee, as well as the sections `Opening by Allianz, curated by Julia Morandeira and Yina Jiménez, featuring galleries of young and `Never the Same. Latin american art, curated by Mariano Mayer and Manuela Moscoso, a section that reinforces the historical link between ARCOmadrid and Latin american art.
